As an integral part of the Reno Recovery Collaborative, the Recovery Response Team was formed out of a partnership with Horizons Mental Health Center and the Reno County Health Department. This team connects with individuals who have experienced a non-fatal overdose or recurrence of use with any substance. It is the mission of the Recovery Response Team to connect these individuals, their family members, and trusted supporters to community resources within 24-48 hours of the event. This service is for anyone in the community and are of no cost to those who desire to access these resources. The hope is to bridge the gap between need and re-engagement with recovery where the individual is at that time.

• Scheduling substance use treatment services
• Providing treatment for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders for adults and adolescents
• Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
• Person-Centered Case Management
• Connecting individuals with Recovery Groups
• Providing community resources for uninsured individuals
• Assisting uninsured individuals with Medicaid eligibility
• Providing resources for families affected by substance use
